Comprehensive renovation and modern transparent glass wing addition to a stately residential estate, introducing a bespoke marble kitchen, open-plan living, and cantilevered overhangs.

Villa Kalorama established a harmonious dialogue between a classic masonry residence in Chevy Chase and a sleek, transparent structural glass wing. The new kitchen pavilion was executed as a monolithic sculptural island in matte Carrara marble paired with smoked American walnut cabinetry. The living area opens entirely to the private landscaped grounds via large-format sliding glass panels.
