Visión espacial y materialidad
Conceptual architectural study for a waterfront bluff compound in Annapolis, characterized by horizontal white concrete prisms and reflecting pools mirroring the Chesapeake sky.
A pure manifestation of architectural asceticism perched above the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Casa Chesapeake decomposes the living program into a series of horizontal pavilions cascading down the shoreline bluff. Water acts as the unifying structural element: perimeter reflecting pools permeate interior courtyards, passively cooling the microclimate while projecting shimmering light reflections across white concrete ceilings.
ESPECIFICACIONES CONSTRUCTIVAS Y RIGOR TÉCNICO
White architectural concrete with integral hydrophobic admixture
Reflecting pools and cantilevered infinity swimming pools
Impact-resistant architectural glass with marine-grade coatings
